Berkshire Heroes in WWII: With Courage and Honor

A Stirring Testimony to Uncommon Valor Dennis G. Pregent presents vivid portraits of 28 Berkshire men and women who survived WWII’s most harrowing battles, featuring original documents and photographs published here for the first time. Follow along, from the attack on Pearl Harbor to the beaches of Normandy, as young recruits waged war across Europe, in aerial combat over the Pacific, or on perilous missions above the Himalayas. It's a stirring testimony to uncommon valor: endeavoring, one and all, to complete the mission and see their lovely Berkshires once again—to war and back.
