The Military Writers Society of America has just announced that the book Berkshire Patriots: Stories of Sacrifice authored by Dennis Pregent was awarded a prestigious Bronze Medal in the History genre.

The book, published in 2023, was evaluated by a three-person reviewing/judging panel. Individual scoring was based on twenty questions covering four areas-content, style, visual appeal, and technical mechanics of writing.

This is Pregent’s second award having received the Bronze Medal award in 2023 for The Boys of St. Joe’s ’65 in the Vietnam War.
